°C-ute’s Best Album

Online Music retalier YAMANO MUSIC has recently added a page for an upcoming C-ute best-of album featuring all of their singles from their indies right up until their upcoming single Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu. This is C-ute’s first best-of album and for some reason I feel it may have more selling power than Berryz Koubou’s best-of. I’m quite looking forward to the rerecorded indie singles, even if they are only versions without Murakami Megumi. It’s a quite a way off until this is released but I’ll look forward to it!

I hope they do some new arrangements for the old songs because if it is just the same song w/o Megumi's voice then I don't think it's worth it...

And I shomehow agree with whoever wrote that article, I do think that C-ute would have more selling power on this album than BK.

The C-ute Best Vol 1 has been renamed C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Shuu Mechaimashita! 1 according to Neowing. The setlist on Neowing is the same as the one released on 9/5, so the song versions will apparently be the same.

I’m glad to see that they have confirmed the album, mostly because this is C-ute’s first best of album.

I’m also kind of glad they kept the setlist with the normal songs, mostly because it’s a great way for fans to hear the songs with the original singers, but it would have been nice to hear new versions as well.

From what I can understand it says "C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Shuu Mechaimashita! 1" but according to some Romaji translators the 集 is "Atsu" instead of "Shuu"...

So, maybe someone who knows Japanese could help out?

Best of albums are released because

1 they are a good way for people to get all the singles
or
2 they are a good way for UFA to milk the wota

lol, probably both. Good for those without the full set, but I think it is always nice to have one or two new tracks on there for others.

C-ute – C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Atsumechaimashita! 1 Covers Released


"The covers for C-ute’s “Best of” album titled C-ute Nan Desu! Zen Single Atsumechaimashita! 1 have been released. The cover features a 5-nin C-ute, although it will probably feature most songs from 6-nin or 7-nin C-ute.

I really like the covers, the Limited cover most of all because of the casual look to it. The regular edition looks really professional, and even though Chisato and Nakki are in the back they look incredible (Saki’s hair looks a lot like Kamei’s). The limited version cover has them all wearing winter or fall season clothes, and for some reason cowboy boots, which looks great on the girls.

Even though Erika isn’t there and I haven’t gotten used to seeing only 5-nin C-ute the covers look really impressing, and hopefully they help convince C-ute fans to buy this album, of course the tracklist will probably help.
