Farewell v-u-den

Today v-u-den will perform for the last two times as a group, after the curtain falls on their final concert the three girls will go their separate ways within Hello! Project, unless two form a duo of course. I have mixed feelings on the disbandment of the group, I liked v-u-den as a group up until around late 2007 when I felt they had became a little bit stagnant and it was, in my opinion, clear that the group was dying. Single sales had hit new lows and the originality of the singles were waning. Koisuru Angel Heart I feel deserves a mention as it was a pretty good song that is great in concert. I think it’s likely we’ll see Ishikawa soon, but I do hope Okada and especially Miyoshi stay in the public eye, I worry more for Miyoshi really. Her fan-base seemed the smallest of the trio.

i really like v-u-den..i think they r superb as a trio,but since we know that charmy can definetely do well on her own direction it is only fair that erika n yui goes to a different path so that they can gain more experience ^w^

Yes, I agree, I'd love to see Yui and Erika form a duo (see my signature) but I'm doubtful. Much as I love(d) Viyuuden, I don't think they really had a big enough fan base (separate of Rika) to continue.

I suspect they will follow the time honoured tradition of ex H!P band-members and be promised a solo career but ultimately be left to find their own level.

On the other hand, if the rumours are true, that it was hostility between Yui and Rika which lead to the breakup, then UFA might feel, after investing so much time and money on the trio, a decided lack of concern for Yui's future.

If that's so, it's possible they might be able to slot the talented and more malleable Erika into another unit. I mean it's possible.

I have to say I never really like V-u-den, I always seemed to but their part out of the Concerts, but I might actually start listening to them now...

going to miss v-u-den, really liked them, although as a rika fan that was not hard. Not too sure how true these hostility humours are, but if true then I think Yui might have shot herself in the foot as Rika was always, rightly, the star of the group.

Hard to see what Yui and Erika will do now. Yui could make a go of the TV show circuit for a while but not sure about Erika.

So what about Rikachan? She still has what it takes to be a huge star, but not as a solo IMHO, so she will need to be part of a new unit. H!P have a load of talented ex-momusu not doing a lot these days so a new elders unit would be cool. I can think of many combinations that would be good to see.

"The legend is finally over.

That's right. Biyuden, led by Ishikawa Rika, held has successfully completed their final performance.

They were active for three years and nine months. They really did great work every single day.

From now on, they'll be working as Hello Project members, and in various activities.

Thank you everybody for all the support you've given them!

Miyoshi Erika
You were 18 when you came from Hokkaidou to make your start. When you put it that way, maybe it seems like you had a late start? I can hear people say that, but really it meant you started out as an adult, and maybe that's why you were able to create that mature, sexy image for Biyuden.

When you first came from Osaka, you were a quiet and honest girl, and today, you've managed to keep that honest image in a good way and became somebody great. I hope you'll keep up that honesty from now on and push onwards with your Okuda Beam."

^ yeah, we already saw rika 'getting prepared' by filling up her sched w/ promoting Fanta, making some appearances on TV shows, and as the spokesperson of 'I live on vegetables' campaign. plus her gatas activities.

but erika and yui's future seems to be quiet... i haven't heard any activities w/ them after v-u-den. i hope they won't just disappear ...:(
