I studied WWI for two years, and from what I made out. Every cause for the war went back to either Colonialism and Imperialism. There was no REAL purpose.

actually the causes of world war was not colonialism. foreign policy, rigid alliances and animosity were part of the causes. Most things can be linked back to foreign policy. The German problem is the deepest cause. If you want to discuss it more please pm me, so that we won't go offtopic too much DX
