I don't know what Adventure Quest is, but I've been playing PSO:Blue Burst for more than 2 years, so I'd be happy to show you the ropes ;) Just let me know if anyone needs a bit of help connecting.

We regret to announce that sales of new Hunters' Licenses will be terminated on December 6th 2007.

All subscription-based services for Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst will be terminating on Jan 9th, 2008.

If you have an active subscription terminating between December 9th 2007 and January 9th 2008, your Hunters' License will be valid until January 9th.

The game servers will be made available to all registered users from January 9th 2008 until March 31st 2008.


PSO-BB Server Closure Timetable
December 9th Access to new subscription purchases will end and all recurring credit card transactions will be deactivated.

All active subscriptions (as of December 9th) will be granted free access until March 31st.
January 9th Free open access to all users with PSO-BB accounts until March 31st.
March 31st All PSO-BB servers will be shut down and service will be discontinued.

You only need a hunters license for playing on the official sega server (which is shutting down soon anyway).

All you need to do is follow the instructions in the link above and you can play completely free.

It's at least as legal as downlowding morning musume tracks/videos. Actually more so, since Sega are well aware of the unofficial server, they just leave it alone because it wouldn't benefit them at all to shut it down.

And as for it not working... No big suprises there ;) I'll help you tomorrow or something, as I have to be up in like 3 hours.

XD you're as bad as me! haha yeah gee thanks for the "no big surprises"...I can never get anything to work, but I think it may have been the japanese items patch...so I'll not install that this time...see how it goes...

haha very true :P I guess it would be more legal then in that case, and thats nice of Sega...although now the games been shut down on the official servers...surely they'll do it with the unofficials soon?

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Regional Options
Under Regional and Language Options, go to the Languages tab and click Details under Text services and input languages.
Add Japanese as an input language (disable the language bar here if you don't want to see it)
Start PSO in Windowed mode (the following ONLY works in Windowed mode) and get to the username input box and press the left Alt and shift keys at the same time.
Some Japanese text will appear to the left of the input userID box, and you'll now be able to type in your username and password.

The gun I gave you is called "last swan". You need 150 ATA before you can use it though.

its not hard if you're with a lvl 100+...it can be if you're with a lvl 21 who cant heal you...
